American pop singer ,Beyonce Knowles ,emerged as the dominant winner during the 59th annual Grammy awards that took place yesterday. The event was aired live from Los Angeles and featured a new host James Corden of the “The late late show”.

Known for her strong performer, Beyoncé emerged as the unsurprising winner in different categories. She had been nominated for the album of the year, best music film and best urban contemporary album. Her song formation was nominated for the best music video, record of the year and song of the year. She gave a remarkable speech while accepting the award for the best urban contemporary album. Both Team Adele and Team Bey anticipated the show. The nominees for different awards included Brandy Clark, Rihanna, Lukas Graham, Sia, Ariana Grande, Justin Bieber, Desiigner and several others.

Bey, who is heavily pregnant with twins did not disappoint in her performance. Instead of her usual energetic moves, she used chairs in her performance, which was all about celebrating motherhood. Few critics thought to say her performance was overrated whilst others suggesting she should have taken this year off. And others thought that the Grammy should have been won by some young talented artists.

Oh wait, Blue Ivy Carter, Beyonce’s daughter, was around too. Adorable as ever, she had all the camera time while appearing all glammed up.

Beyonce won her 22nd Grammy for best urban contemporary album –lemonade. Other winners of the Grammy included the following.  The Best rock song was taken by David Bowie’s black star. Chance the Rapper was the best new artist. The adorable Adele had the Best pop solo performance through her song Hello. The Best rap song was hotline bling by Drake.
