Do You Want to Get a Job in Kenya Without Tarmacking? Study Your Degree from the following countries

We have studied and analyzed employment trends in Kenya for several months and established that employers in this country have lost hope in local graduates, they are now giving special preferences to graduates from abroad.

Woe unto you if you possess a degree from Mount Kenya University, St. Paul’s University, Kenya Methodist University and several other private universities, employers would want to know whether you possess a serious professional certification before they employ you. If you possess CFA, Actuarial certification or ACCA well and good, but if you rushed to the university and completed your course in a marathon 1 and half years, expecting employers to employ you as fast as your heart demands, you will get a heart attack—no employer would want to waste money on a graduate who has zero skill and blotted ego.

Assuming you have money or you win a scholarship, you won’t tarmac if you pursue your degree from these countries.

UK

USA

Canada

Australia

USA tops the list of the most preferred countries by Kenya employers. Reason being, the country has the best universities in the world. It is followed by Canada,UK and Australia, respectively.

If you are a jobseeker from local universities, except UoN and Strathmore Universities, you will find it hard to compete for limited vacancies with graduates from Europe and USA.
