A wealthy Kikuyu businessman has narrated what transpired between him and his Kamba wife. The man, who is a wealthy entrepreneur rarely sleeps in his home-one night the worst happened.
“I married Lucy in 2005 through a church wedding. My wife was humble, beautiful and God fearing. The first thought that came to my mind when I met her was that I had landed on the person I wanted in my life, and everyone congratulated me for the efforts.
At first I didn’t have money, I was selling scrap metals and business was not good. Over time my wife helped me develop through ideas.in 5 years, I saw a million in my account.
Things started falling apart when I started travelling to Dubai. I could go for two weeks and return back to hear stories of men visiting my wife. I didn’t take my friends seriously-I thought they were jealous of me.
Lucy had executive salon in Nairobi CBD, which I used my own money to establish. During her daily routine, I guess she met several men, some of them richer than me.That is when she went astray.
Last February, I remember one night when a phone rang. That day I was scheduled to travel to Dubai but didn’t manage because my plane was postponed. I therefore remained indoors. As the phone rang, my wife hesitated to pick it but I forced her to pick and put loud speaker on.
“I hope he is not around. Prepare the bed.Today mbaka che”,
That was what I heard. Then he continued:
“Huyo mjinga alienda saa ngapi”.
That was the time I almost burst.I told my wife to continue talking.She said,”my husband is here”.
Then the man replied,”so what,kwani hajuai tunakulana”.
Immediately I took my bag and went straight to a guest house.
My heart is now even more broken after hearing shocking stories from my friends.My wife has slept with almost everyone in the neighbourhood.I believe marrying a Kamba woman is like carrying millions without police security.I will never even bother to marry again”.
