Between now and August 2017, the commission will be suffocated by pressure from politicians and citizens.Raila and Uhuru expect them to be credible to avoid chaos. Citizens too will be monitoring the commission’s activities especially during presidential vote counting activity. If Chebukati fails to live up to voters’ expectations, he will be blamed in case something abnormal occurs.
