Royal Global University offers 100% scholarship to the Rank Holders of Class XII under Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (AHSEC) for the students of Science, Commerce and Arts stream, 2017.
- The Scholarship is offered to all the Rank Holders of Class XII (Science, Commerce and Arts) for admission in any courses under Royal Global University at undergraduate level.
- Financial Assistance to the Rank Holders belonging to BPL families and willing to study in other institutions.
- The scholarships will be awarded annually. For next year/subsequent years the grant of scholarship to the awardees will be governed by the continuation of scholarship Policy.
- The candidates applying for scholarship has to appear in the personal interview conducted by the Royal Global University at the time of Admission.
Continuation of Scholarship on 2nd and subsequent years under Scheme of “Royal Salute to Stars”
The Scholarship holders under the scheme of “Royal Salute to Stars” will be eligible for continuation of scholarship in the next/subsequent years of the program, subject to fulfillment of the following terms and conditions:
Class attendance of the students must be 75% and above in all the subjects in each semester.
The students must clear all the papers and pass the semester/annual examination for promoting to the next year.
To continue availing 100% scholarship, a student must secure/maintain a position in top 10% of the students from the merit list of the class or stream in the respective course.
Students found guilty of involvement in any untoward incident (including ragging) will be disqualified for award of scholarship.
In case a student, availing the scholarship under the scheme “Royal Salute to Stars”, fails to fulfill the condition for continuation of scholarship in the succeeding year/years, he/she will have to pay the full fee for subsequent year/years, as prescribed for other students.
A student, once disqualified/suffers a break in scholarship, will not be eligible for further scholarship.
Final decision of granting scholarship lies with the management.

- A student availing 100% scholarship will have to pay Rs. 50000.00 as security deposit and caution money deposit of Rs. 5000.00 at the time of admission.
- No. of scholarships offered in B.Tech. courses will be 05 in each stream/discipline of Engineering.
- Apart from fulfilling the above criteria, a student must also secure overall 60% marks in the Written Test, Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI) conducted by the institution at the time of admission.
- SC/ST/Non-Creamy- Layer OBC students will have relaxation of 5% in aggregate marks for all categories of scholarship. Apart from fulfilling the above criteria, a student must also secure overall 55% marks in the Written Test, Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI) conducted by the institution at the time of admission.
- The scholarships will be awarded annually. For next year/subsequent years the grant of scholarship to the awardees will be governed by continuation of Merit – On Admission scholarship policy.
Continuation of Merit – On Admission Scholarship on second and subsequent years
- Merit – On Admission Scholarship holders will be eligible for continuation of scholarship in the next/subsequent years of the program, subject to fulfillment of the following terms and conditions:
To continue availing 100% scholarship, a student must secure/maintain a position in top 5% of the students from the merit list of the class or stream in the respective course.
To continue availing 50% scholarship, a student will have to secure/maintain a position in top 10% of the students from the merit list of the class or stream in the respective course.
To continue availing 25% scholarship, students will have to secure/maintain a position in top 25% of the students from the merit list of the class or stream in the respective course.
To continue availing scholarship, a student must clear all the papers in each semester and should not carry any back log in any semester.
To continue availing scholarship, a student must have an attendance of at least 75% in all the subjects in each semester.
- The category in which a student is awarded a scholarship will not be changed to any other category. In case a student fails to secure a position to maintain (continue) scholarship in a particular category, he/she will not be eligible for continuation of scholarship in any other category. For example, if a student availing 100% scholarship does not secure/maintain a position in top 5% but secures/maintains a position in top 10%, then he/she will be disqualified for 100% scholarship and at the same time will not be eligible for 50% scholarship as well.
- A student availing 100% scholarship will have to pay Rs. 50000.00 as security deposit and caution money deposit of Rs. 5000.00 at the time of admission.If the student continues qualifying for scholarship for all the years during the course, the amount of Rs. 50,000.00 (paid as security and caution deposit) will be refunded after the completion of his/her respective course of study. The security money will not be refunded in case of student withdrawing/dropping out.

- In case a student, availing Merit – On Admission scholarship, fails to fulfill the condition for continuation of scholarship in the succeeding year/years, he/she will have to pay the full fee for subsequent year/years, as prescribed for other students.
- In case a student, availing Merit – On Admission Scholarship, wishes to avail hostel and transportation facilities, he/she will have to pay the full hostel and transportation fees as prescribed for other students.

MONTHLY SCHOLARSHIP FOR SEMESTER TOPPERS
Monthly Scholarship for Semester Toppers in each course/stream will be awarded with Rs. 3000.00 (Rupees three thousand only) per month for one semester.
For example, 1st semester topper will receive scholarship for the whole 2 nd semester, 2 nd semester topper will receive scholarship for the whole 3 rd semester and so on. The scholarship will be governed by the following terms and conditions:
- To avail the monthly scholarship, a student must secure 85% marks or more in aggregate in the end semester examinations and clear all the papers of the end semester examinations.
- Class attendance of the students, eligible for the above scholarship, must be 75% and above in a particular semester.
- Students availing Merit – On Admission Scholarship or Royal Endowment and other Scholarship will not be entitled to Monthly Scholarship for Semester Toppers.
- In case a student, availing Merit –On Admission Scholarship, secures the top position in a semester and also qualifies for the ‘Monthly Scholarship for Semester Toppers’, he/she will, in addition to the Merit – On Admission Scholarship, be awarded with a Merit Certificate/Certificate of Excellence only (without the Scholarship Amount).
