Former Machakos Senator Johnstone Muthama has been arrested.
Muthama was arrested at Kangundo today morning over hate speech. The NASA politician used inappropriate words during yesterday’s NASA rally in Kajiado, which attracted the attention of the NCIC.
The former Senator is currently recording a statement at the CID headquarters and he is expected to be detained and arraigned in court tomorrow morning.
This is the second time the politician is being arrested over hate speech.In 2016 he was arrested alongside Moses Kuria, Junet Mohammed and Ferdinand Waititu.
