Zimbabwean president Robert Mugabe is planning to go for exile but no country is willing to give him asylum.
The longest serving African president is currently in his home in Harare and a plane is standby to fly him out of the country. He is, however, contacting several friendly countries to allow him seek refuge there before he relinquishes power to the military.
Zimbabwe military has given the 93-year-old president 24 hours or he faces the music. They have already littered Harare with military tanks, which they will use in case a section of the military decides to go down with the president.
It’s now imminent that a coup will happen in due course, which will mark the end of Robert Mugabe as the president of Zimbabwe.
In the same breath, this is what has happened in Zimbabwe this evening:
- Robert Gabriel Mugabe International Airport has closed.
- Robert Gabriel Mugabe Airways has halted its flights.
- Robert Gabriel Mugabe University shut down.
- Robert Gabriel Mugabe Way is blocked.
