Mombasa Governor Ali Hassan Joho has not disappointed this time. The Governor has appointed Betty Kyalo’s brother, Kevin Munywoki Kyalo as a County Executive Committee member.
The governor announced that Kevin will from today become the CEC in charge of Youth and Gender at the county. In a statement, he also appointed the following to various positions in the county:
- Taufiq Mohamed Balala – Transport and Infrastructure
- Godfrey Nyongesa Nato – Environment
- Edward Dzilla Nyale – Lands, Physical Planning and Housing
- Hazel Koitaba – Health
- Fatma Awale – Water, Sanitation and Natural Resources
Joho and Kyalo became a thing after the KTN TV siren divorced her husband. Their relationship is believed to be as tight as a miniskirt, the reason Joho was brave enough to appoint Betty’s brother to the powerful position.
