Raila Odinga is secretly planning to jet into the country Friday evening and is expected to be sworn in from Kisumu Tuesday next week.
Sources close to him reveal that the Former Prime Minister will be sworn in at 10 am, few minutes before President Kenyatta’s official swearing in ceremony. After he is sworn in, Raila will sneak out of the country and would give orders from a neighbouring country.
Initilly,Raila wanted to be sworn in from Tanzania but Magufuli declined his request and instead told him he will consider providing him asylum .Magufuli stated that providing him a platform for swearing in would strain the relationship between Kenya and Tanzania.
In the meantime, Raila is seeking services from a local judge and he will use Uhuru’s new electoral law that was enacted few days ago, which states that any judge can swear in the president.
