Former Zimbabwean president Robert Mugabe has finally met his childhood friends after 50 years in politics.
Mugabe was excited to meet some of them who have gone toothless and others living in abject povwert.The former president couldn’t even recognize classmates, something that worried him a lot. He was forced to shed tears after he was reminded by one of his childhood friends that how he had alienated himself from them. In the meeting, it became apparent that Mugabe has not been in terms with the reality on the ground.
For the first time, Mugabe interacted freely with common citizens and he even said:”I had missed this life”.
