News reaching us indicates that Raila Odinga’s swearing in ceremony has been postponed.
NASA arrived at the decision after it emerged that the government couldn’t allow such a ceremony to occur. A source from the opposition headquarters at Orange House also reveals that Kalonzo Musyoka refused to be sworn in alongside Raila, leaving the former Prime Minister alone.
Another source says the government is now willing to talk with the opposition but on condition that the constitution is not amended to create positions that do not currently exist in it.
Nobody at NASA is sure when the event (swearing in) will happen and what exactly Raila would agree on with the president.
What we know so far is that the swearing in ceremony of Raila won’t happen, even next year.
