Nobody wants to become poor; everyone is aiming of becoming a millionaire, but it’s not possible if they are consistently doing things that scuttle their ambitions. Here we have a list of things that can prevent you from becoming a millionaire in Kenya and how best to avoid them.
Overstaying in university
One of the worst decisions a human being can make in Kenya is to overstay in college. The major reason why they do so is due to the belief that once they acquire more and more degrees, they are likely to earn more than those with fewer degrees, which is absolutely untrue.
It’s recommended that once you are through with undergraduate or masters program, start a business venture, look for a job and invest. The moment you stop making money and focus on earning more degrees, that’s the time you bury your ‘millionaire dream’. It’s not bad to go to school but don’t take a whole 20 years in pursuit of degrees-you will be disappointed afterwards.
Betting
Betting is not an investment to a player, it’s a business of someone who wants you to lose so that he can become rich. I swear even with the Bible that if you are intending to become a millionaire through betting, you will die a bitter person. Betting is addictive, it gives false hope and its results are traumatizing.
Women
No man has ever become rich by spending money on women. Every successful millionaire knows that their greatest achievement is met when they drop toxic women out of their lives. These millionaires keep women who are only business partners.
If you mix money, women and business, you will terribly fail.
Alcohol
Unless you are selling alcohol, the less you drink the better.
Alcohol can take up to 100% of your income…and if you are not careful, your life will also end prematurely.
Identifying wrong business
Business is good, it is the only genuine way of becoming a millionaire, but if you choose to pursue a wrong one, you will die poor.
I think you have noticed people who own shops, kiosks, kibanda and are not progressing in life. Of course these people are in business but what they are making is not enough to make them millionaires.
