I usually don’t reveal what happens in my family but today I have to tell the whole world. I am married to a Kisii man and we have three children. There is this thing that has troubled me over the past 3 years.
My husband is a good man when he is not angry. He gives me enough money, he buys me anything I want and has never failed to provide for his children. But there is a character he has adopted that is not going well with me.Almost weekly, he comes and with slight provocation he starts beating me.He makes sure I start crying and making noise then forces me to sleep with him. He has done this until I am used to it.
Last week I asked him why he does so, he said that he finds me sweet when I am crying. He confessed that when I am at my normal state he feels nothing.
Though I love him, I feel that he is not doing good to me.I have several scars because of regular beatings.I have asked him to stop but he has refused. I don’t know the next step to take.Please advise me!
