Major General Gordon Kihalangwa, who put the last nail in Miguna’s citizenship coffin, has explained why the self-proclaimed NRM General was deported to Canada. According to the General, here is the concrete reason Miguna was put into KLM plane as a luggage:
“As the Immigration Boss, I have very little time to dwell on what is happening on TV as I am busy serving Kenyans! I did not know about the orders to DCI and Police to release Miguna Miguna. We completed our investigations, found that he was in the country illegally, arrested him and deported him as required by law! As you know, the Immigration department was not party to any of the Miguna suits and court proceedings. That Miguna was deported during all this mayhem is a sheer coincidence! We did our job and we did it diligently!”
Miguna is currently preparing a suit against the Kenyan Government for illegal deportation.Miguna claims that his placenta was buried in Luo Nyanza and that there is no way he can be deported from his country of origin.In the near future a legal battle will begin and Miguna is likely to win against the government.
