I am currently crying in the sofa over what my mother is doing…I don’t like it at all.I completed my high school last year and I am waiting to join college.Since last year Nevember I have been living with my mother in Kieni and this is the time I have come to know her behavior.
My father works in Mombasa and he manages to come once a month,which means my mother has a whole month of freedom.What baffles me most is that when my father is not around,my mother brings men in the house,including our watchman.The first time I noticed this was in January after my father had gone to Mombasa.I found her in a sofa set with our neighbor who is a teacher.It was around 3 pm and I had gone to Nairobi to buy a phone.I think I returned earlier than she expected.I just came and opened the main door without knowing my mother was hosting someone.Unfortunately,I found them,but I excused myself and closed the door,went to my friend to spend sometime there.
After I came back, she gave me Ksh2,000 and told me not to tell my father.
Yesterday evening I also got her with a watchman in the bedroom.I had gone to my friend’s birthday party and informed my mother that I would come the following morning.But I didn’t manage to sleep there because my friend was travelling to Nakuru.When I returned at around 9pm,I heard my mother talk from her bedroom,I thought it was my dad only to find out it was our watchman.
Now I think she has become worse.I don’t know whether to tell my father or keep quiet.For real it hurts.
