Former Embakasi Member of Parliament Babu Owino will appeal todayโs nullification of his election at the Supreme Court of Kenya.
Babu has hired 10 lawyers to represent him, who include James Orengo,Mutula Kilonzo and several other senior lawyers. Some of the lawyers in the list have offered to provide free services.
The former Nairobi University Student Leader believes todayโs ruling was influenced by senior politicians in Jubilee administration. He believes if he accepts the ruling and proceed to another election, he will easily lose.Therefore,he has decided to move to the Supreme Court with the hope that Maragaโs led panel will overturn the junior courtโs ruling.
On Monday or any day next week,Babu will present his case at the Supreme Court of Kenya.
