Alfred Mutua has vowed to teach journalist Geoffrey Mosoku a lesson after he claimed that the governor  fell in water with a thud while taking a selfie at Ogembo Bridge.

Mutua, whose ego is on Mount Everest, was annoyed by Mosoku’s statement on Facebook. He immediately recorded a statement at Ogembo Police Station.

After feeling good for reporting the journalist,he fumed on Facebook:

“I have written a statement with the CID at Ogembo Police Station so that Standard Journalist Geoffrey Mosoku may be charged with spreading fake news and cyber bullying for lying that I had fallen into River Gucha and that I was taking a selfie.

The new law that H.E Uhuru Kenyatta just assented to will be used to charge all those lying and others copying and spreading lies about the Gucha incident. We have video evidence that contradicts the lies and hundreds of witnesses. Fake news, impunity and abuse of social media have to end.

I urge editors and internet site managers to verify the truth and to pull down the false Gucha river incident info they are reporting and to correct it with the truth. The OB number of my statement that will be used to charge ALL who publish and retain online lies is: 34 of 18/5/18”

Mutua, who recently lost his Westlands house to his first wife, almost drowned at Ogembo when a poorly constructed bridge caved in while they were taking a selfie with his expensive gadget.
