Deputy President William Ruto can now smile after President Uhuru Kenyatta openly dismissed the calls for referendum.
Uhuru,who has been silent for the better part of the month, said he is only concerned about the big four and that he has no time for politics. The lovely president also added that no election will be done before 2022 and that those calling for a referendum should give him time to deliver on his mandate.
Raila Odinga has been engineering the referendum debate but Uhuru waited until he flew to UK before he delivered the message home.
There have been fears that the president and his deputy are not eating from the same plate especially after the famous handshake.Uhuru’s latest move proves Raila is wasting time on the referendum debate.
