I am Gilbert from Nairobi. I have an issue that has troubled me for the past 8 years.I have three children, one in standard 6,another one in standard 4 and the last one in standard 1.My wife works as a receptionist in an insurance company and I am a mechanic at a garage near Nyayo Stadium.
When I was in high school my performance was not good. There is no exam I managed to score more than a D plain and I constantly scored a E in mathematics.Finally,I scored a D plain and joined a college in Nairobi for a certificate in Mechanical Engineering.My wife too scored a D plain and didn’t progress with her education.But she was employed as a tea girl and later become a receptionist.
My problem is that all my children are bright in school. My first born is always number one or two and people think he took my genes.My second born is also intelligent and always score more than 90% in maths.
Looking at my wife’s certificates and knowing she was in perfect health when doing high school exams,I don’t think she was bright.I know from the bottom of my heart that I am equally not bright.
I asked my wife whether there is anyone in their home who scored A or B+ and above and she says the best in the family scored a C plain.In our home we are four brothers and none managed to score more than a D.Now I am wondering,did my wife cheat on me to get the three children?This thing has really disturbed me and I need your help
