Deputy President William Ruto is expected to register a new party before end of this year. His URP party has written to the Register of Political Parties requesting for registration of a new party.
The new party will accommodate former URP members and politicians who have recently decamped from ODM.The party will have a new headquarter and new members.
Going forward,Ruto will not associate himself with Jubilee, the vehicle Uhuru used to ascend to power. He also wants to make independent decisionsโฆminus the input of the president.
