I have read several messages from panicking Kenyans whether KRA has extended the deadline for filing returns. Information I have received from insiders say the taxman is not in a hurry to extend the deadline date even after Kenyans pleaded with them.
The deadline for submitting returns to KRA is June 30,2018.It’s estimated that more than 5% of Kenyans with KRA PIN number have not submitted returns, which means that they will be fined Ksh20,000.
If you have not filed yours, contact your employer for the P9 form and login to KRA website to compete the process ….it will take you less than 20 minutes. If you own a company, there is no need of a P9, simply log on to the website and key in your details. You have few hours remaining before we cross the deadline date.
