President Uhuru Kenyatta will announce a new cabinet next week.
Sources within State House indicate that the president is working on a new list of cabinet secretaries and principal secretaries and by Wednesday next week, the list will be ready.
Itโs because of his tight schedule that he didnโt travel to Mauritania yesterday. A statement from Statehouse confirmed that he wonโt attend the African Union Summit in Mauritania.
โPresident Uhuru Kenyatta has been held back by urgent state matters and will not attend the African Union Summit in Nouakchott, Mauritania. The President has deployed Foreign Affairs CS, Dr. Amb. Monica Juma, to lead Kenya’s delegation to the summit this weekendโ,the full statement read.
We are informed that the new cabinet will include Raila and Gideon Moi right hand men and exclude incompetent Cabinet Secretaries.However,most individuals allied to Ruto will be retained.
