Former NTV news anchor Larry Madowo has left BBC.
The frog voiced journalist had the shortest stint in the international media house in the history of news anchoring in Kenya. He Joined BBC earlier this year after falling out with Nation Media Group management but after few months in probation, his contract was not confirmed.
After finding realizing he would get out of employment, he approached Citizen TV for a job and was offered a temporary contract—he will resume job next month.
Citizen TV is now the home of the who is who in the media industry. However, Madowo would find it hard to anchor news at SK Macharia’s station unless some of the news anchors are offloaded.
