A grown up Kenyan man will be buried this week after a leading betting company in Kenya chewed his salary. Moses woke up yesterday knowing that Ghana will hammer Kenya 4-0.He logged into his favourite betting company and placed a bet with Ksh 20,000 and was expecting Ksh 18,000 profit.
Moses waited for more than 30 minutes and nothing was forthcoming. Few minutes after blinking, Kenya scored. On the betting companyโs dashboard, it indicated that if Ghana wins, the man will walk home with Ksh 100,000 with a Ksh 20,000 bet; Moses hurriedly deposited Ksh 20,000 into his account and placed the bet.
First half was over and Kenya was still leading. In second half, none of the two teams scored, but the worst happened towards the end of the matchโKenya received a red card.With less numbers in the field,Moses was convinced that Ghana will at least score a goal. He again deposited Ksh 20,000 in his account and placed a bet of GG which had odds of 8,he patiently waited for Ksh 160,000.
The game ended 1-0 in favour of Kenya and Moses couldnโt stomach any nonsense—he ended his life.Burial arrangements are in to gear.
