Valentine usiku sikulala,niliumia baada ya kufanyiwa kitendo na bibi yangu.
Mimi ni dereva na huwa nachukua vitu za kampuni Western Kenya kutoka Nairobi.Last week ilikuwa Valentine day and I had promised my wife nitampatia treatment ndio tupendane Zaidi.
Three days before Valentine’s day I went to my boss and asked for a short leave,she agreed to do so.I filled the leave form and waited for the Valentine’s day.But a day before Valentine’s my boss called me and told me one of our clients in Bungoma wants some drugs to be delivered urgently.I felt bad because I had planned thoroughly for the Valentine’s day—I had even bought flowers.
That evening I went and told my wife our celebration has aborted and that I won’t be there on Valentine’s day.I clearly saw a frustrated partner but I comforted her.
I woke up at 7 and proceeded to the go down where the luggage was loaded into my vehicle.At exactly 6pm I started the journey to Bungoma.But on reaching Limuru,the vehicle developed a mechanical problem.I called the office and I was told our mechanic will be sent the following day.I had no choice but to leave the vehicle at the petrol station and proceed to my house.
I boarded a matatu and headed back to my house.It’s after I arrived at the door I heard a man’s voice from my bedroom,”zungusha hivi ndio iingie vizuri”,my wife responded while crying, “Bana Hayuko,weka yote,inawaka moto”,Mimi nilidhani labda naona zangu lakini nilipokimbia kwa dirisha ndio niliamini kuna mwanaume kwa hiyo nyumba.
Niligonga mlango mara moja na kuingia.Kuangalia hivi nikaona ni jirani yangu anakimbia kutoka bedroom.
Hasira zilinipanda na kuanza kumpiga,only for him to overpower me na akanichapa.Kugeuka kidogo nikapata wameshirikiana na bibi kunichapa.Nilipiga ndiru wakatoroka.
That night nilibaki kwa nyumba kuhuzunika.Bibi ambaye napenda ndio amenigeuka na ni valentine.Lakini chenye kiliniuma Zaidi ni vile mwanaume anakuja kunikulia bibi na kunichapa.Kesho yake nilipiga simu mara moja na kuamua kuwafunza lesson.Nilipigia rafiki yangu Mugwenu kwa number yake +254740637248,nikamwambia kuna mtu amechukua bibi yangu na ninataka afunzwe lesson.

On Saturday morning I heard my phone ringing and going to receive it,it was my wife who was calling. She begged for forgiveness and told me to forgive the man because he is in need of my mercy.She gave the man the phone to talk to me.He asked for my bank account and told me how much he can pay me so that I can forgive him—I said Ksh300,000.
After receiving the cash,I told my friend Mugwenu to set him free.
My wife has vowed not to joke with me again,but sioni nikimwamini.
