Deputy President William Ruto has called for crisis meeting at his Karen home few hours after Treasure CS Henry Rotich was arrested.
The DP invited some of his friends and Tanga Tanga members where he instructed them not to carry mobile phones or wallets. The meeting is currently happening and more than 50 people are in attendance.
We are also reliably informed that the government will make more arrests including the recipient of Ksh 4 billion which was carried in bags to a specific home in Karen.
Rotich will spend the night in police cell and will be arraigned in court tomorrow. The President is expected to announce his successor as the Treasury CS.
