Alex Mwakideu is one of the highest paid radio presenters in Kenya. Sources at Milele FM reveal that the long serving journalist earns a cool Ksh 650,000 per month.
The huge salary is the reason Mwakideu loved alcohol before he got saved in 2019.In one of the interviews with a local station, the journalist revealed that he could buy alcohol the entire night and spend over Ksh150,000 without blinking.
Mwakideu has been co-hosting morning show with Jalango who was sacked in June following massive layoff by Mediamax Network Ltd.His huge salary is the sole reason Mwakideu has not left Milele FM for any other stations—it’s rare for a Kenyan radio station to pay more than Ksh500,000 per month.
The journalist is married and is blessed with three children. He has worked at Milele FM for more than 5 years, the station is owned by Kenyatta family.
