English Premier League Outright Betting Tips

The Premier League season is approaching its half-way point, and things are becoming a lot clearer than they were a few weeks back.

Liverpool have emerged as favourites to retain their title, while Manchester United have suddenly become genuine challengers for a first league title since the days of Sir Alex Ferguson.

The race for the Champions League places promises to be as intriguing as ever, with Leicester, Everton, and Southampton seemingly ready to mix it up with the bigger boys like Manchester City, Tottenham, United and Chelsea.

At the other end of the table, Sheffield United, West Bromwich Albion and Fulham look set for a long season in a relegation dogfight while Arsenal are loitering dangerously close to drop zone.

So which sides should you be backing in your Premier League outright bets?

There are some pretty good outrights betting sites in Kenya, but for the best odds and betting options, you can check out betway.

Liverpool to win the title at odds of 2.05 looks pretty decent, especially for high rollers, while Manchester United to finish in the top two is at a very attractive 4.10.

Given the unpredictability of the Premier League season, backing Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s men may be worth the gamble.

At the moment, the bookies are going with Liverpool, Manchester City, Chelsea and Manchester United to finish in the top four, while Leicester City are slight outsiders with odds of 4.00 on betway as at the time of writing.

That is a bit too high in our opinion. Leicester have already recorded wins at City, Arsenal and Spurs this season, and are definitely going to be in and around the Champions League places come the end of the season.

At those odds, it’s definitely worth the punt to back Leicester for a top-four finish!

You can also go for Arsenal to finish in the top half of the Premier League table at 1.60.

The Gunners are currently in the bottom third of the table, but surely, they cannot go on like this through the rest of the season. They may not be as good as some of the sides in the top six, but they have far too much quality to be in the position they are currently in.

Expect Arsenal to find some form during the course of the campaign and make a push for the top half.

Another option you can exploit is the top goalscorer option. There are some really great odds in that market.

Mohammed Salah is currently the slight favourite to pick up the Premier League Golden Boot at odds of 2.75 on betway, while the prolific Harry Kane is valued at an incredible 5.55.

Now that’s a risk worth taking!

Kane’s Spurs teammate, Heung-Min Son is even higher at 10.0, while Everton hitman Dominic Calvert-Lewin is at 10.40.

If you are into assists, you may want to back Manchester United’s creator-in-chief, Bruno Fernandes at super odds of 10.00.

Manchester City’s Kevin De Bruyne, who has not quite been at his best this season, remains the bookmakers’ favourite to top the assists chart. De Bruyne is valued at 2.05, ahead of current assists leader, Kane. United’s Fernandes is also a great bet for the top assist maker in the league.

With more than half of the season still to come, there are bound to be many more twists and turns in a very unpredictable campaign.

However, patterns are beginning to emerge, and this appears to be a really good time to place some outright bets and take advantage of the odds while they are still pretty good!
