Every journalist in Kenya would want to own a magnificent house but it’s not possible for some because their income is low. However, there are notable figures in the media industry who possess classic bungalows and mansions, one of them being Jeff Koinange whose house is located in Kitisuru,the house is worth over Ksh100 million.
To own a decent house in Kenya, you have to cough over Ksh5 million. It’s good that majority of radio presenters, comedians and TV anchors have managed to build houses everyone would admire.

Gidi hosts Radio Jambo’s popular Patanisho show. He started a career as a musician and later settled as a radio presenter. His village house costed him Ksh 15 million to build.

There was a time Jeff Koinange almost lost his house to a bank for defaulting a huge loan. The former CNN reporter had acquired a loan from CBA but he failed to repay in time. Were it not for President Kenyatta intervention, he’d have lost the house.
The magnificent building is located in Kitisuru and is valued at more than Ksh100 million.

Jalango has two houses,one in Nairobi and another one in village.He finished constructing the village house in 2021.He spent a whopping Ksh7 million to build his village house.

Alex Mwakideu’s salary is enough to build a house in middle income estates in Nairobi.The Radio Maisha presenter owns a Ksh10 million house which he purchased with his own money. He earns over Ksh800,000 per month at Radio maisha.
- Linus Kaikai
Linus Kaikai’s house is located in Rongai,its’ one of the most beautiful houses in Rongai.He built the house while working at Nation Media Group.The house house is currently valued at ksh 40 million.
Linus Kaikai currently works at Royal Media Services. His monthly salary is above Ksh1.2 million.

Julie Gichuru is married to a rich family, she owns one of the most beautiful houses in Kenya. Her compound is worth over Ksh250 million.
