Former Vice President and Wiper Party leader Kalonzo Musyoka has joined Azimio.Kalonzo announced today that he and other OKA leaders have started discussions to form an alliance with Raila Odinga and President Uhuru Kenyatta. Also to join the coalition is Gideon Moi.
Kalonzo will formally sign agreement with Raila and leaders from other parties to form a coalition everyone will fear to face. They will then come up with a line up for the 2022 elections.Raila is expected to be the flagbearer of the coalition, he will be deputized by Peter Kenneth or Kalonzo Musyoka.
Kalonzo’s decision to join Azimio locks out Ruto from the Ukambani region.This means that Raila will get over 1.5 million votes from Eastern and at least 1.5 million other votes from Nyanza.
Here is the expected votes the Enigma will garner in 2022:
- Nyanza—1.8 million votes
- Western Kenya—1.1 million votes
- Nairobi—1.22 million votes
- Mount Kenya—1.5 million votes
- Coast—1.1 million votes
- Rift Valley—800,000 votes
- Eastern—1.5 million votes
- North Eastern—300,000 votes
He will get 7.3 million votes in total against Ruto who will get 5.7 million votes.Raila will be declared president in August 2022.
