Majority of Luos live in Nyanza, Western and Nairobi. In 2022, 2.7 million Luos are registered as voters. Out of this number, at least 1.8 live in Nyanza.

In Nairobi there are about 600,000 Luo registered voters. In Western more than 500,000 Luo voters exist. In Mombasa, at least 200,000 Luos are registered as voters.
Since Raila is a candidate, more than 95% of the Luos will vote for Raila, meaning that he will get at least 2.5 million votes from the Luo community.Raila will also get more than 80% votes from Nyamira and Kisii counties.
