The government has ordered the immediate blocking of 44 websites in the country over content pirating. DStv/MultiChoice had sued them. The websites livestream matches from the English Premier League, Bundesliga and other major leagues for free. They actions deny DSTV revenues.
DSTV went to court for orders to the government to block the websites.
