We know IEBC website is busy and you may not be able to check your polling station. It’s good to check your status before 9/8/2022 in order to be sure you are registered.
To check your polling status, send your Identity card number followed by (#) and your date of birth (12345678#1980) to the SMS code 70000.The details of your polling station will come in the form of a text message within few seconds.
Assuming you were born in 1990 and your ID number is 22221121, here is how to format the message:
22221121#1990
Then send it to 70000
Voting is your right. Make sure you wake up on 9th August 2022 to vote. Those who don’t vote are the ones electing bad leaders.
