Former Citizen TV Journalist Jacque Maribe has been appointed Director of Communication at Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua’s office. Her appointment comes days after friends reported that she was suffering from depression resulting into her current drinking habit.
Maribe will officially report to work on 1st October 2022 and her work station will be at Rigathi’s office at Harambee Avenue. Her duties will be to streamline the office of the Deputy President by ensuring effective communication and accurate dissemination of information.
Maribe has been jobless for 4 years after being fired from Citizen TV where she was earning Ksh500,000 per month. Her involvement in Monica Kimani’s murder with Jowi was the reason she faced the axe. But due to Dennis Itumbi’s influence in the current government, Maribe will head the communication team at Rigathi’s office, her new salary will be Ksh 400,000 per month.
Before being sacked, she used to report for Citizen TV from State House.Her star was rising significantly until the unfortunate incident at Kilimani.
