Lt. Colonel Damaris Apondi Agnetta is the Luo military lady who stood behind President Ruto when he was addressing women at KICC.
Lt. Colonel Damaris Apondi Agnetta makes history as the first Luo to stand behind a serving president as a deputy ADC since independence and the second woman after Lieutenant-Colonel Rachel Nduta Kamui.
Damaris was born on 13th March 1983 and joined Kenya Defence Forces in 2003 as a Cadet Officer after graduating with a degree . She is a member of the Kenya Army, and is from the Artillery unit and at a point was assigned as KDF records officer.
Agnetta has also served in United Nations Military Observer Mission among other several military assignments within and outside the country. She is a loving mother of two. She hails from Suba in Homa Bay County.
