Controversial singer Akothee has tied the knot today in Nairobi.The Luo celebrity married her short term Mzungu boyfriend at Windsor Hotel.Akotheeโs age is 44 years while her boyfriend is aged 34 years.The two started dating in 2022 when they met in Akotheeโs office. This came after the singer dumped her ex-boyfriend Nelly Oaks who she claimed was not physically fitโshe was lazy.
Sources close to the musician claims that Akothee spent a whopping Ksh 5 million on the wedding. She bought a wedding gown for Ksh1.5 million.
Before the wedding, Akothee signed a prenup which stated that nobody will go for another personโs wealth in case of divorce.Akothee also barred her new husband from interfering with affairs of her 5 children.
Several celebrities and politicians attended the wedding.They include,Jalango,Aisha Jumwa,Karen Nyamu,Mama Ida Odinga among others.
