Kenya Kwanza has agreed to talk to Azimio to find a way of ending demonstrations. After the talks,the office of Opposition leader will be created where Raila will be required to be declared official opposition leader deputized by Kalonzo Musyoka.But the most shocking thing is that Jeremiah Kioni,Peter Munya and Martha Karua have been locked out of the talks because they brought no votes to Raila Odinga.
One of the surprising names in the talks is Eugene Wamalwa whose influence in Western politics is seen.During demonstrations, Ukambani,Western,Nairobi and Nyanza were the most affected, meaning that politicians from those areas played a key role.
Up to now,the role of Martha Karua in Raila’s political arrangement is not known—he has zero influence.Kenyans,even those in government agree that Kalonzo is the most influential politician in opposition after Raila.
Going forward,Karua may not feature anywhere in Raila’s political activities. Even when the opposition leader office is being created she won’t be given any position.
