Director Trevor is a Kisii whose real name is Bonventure Monyancha Kebati.He shot into the limelight in 2022 when he revealed that Eve Mungai YouTube channel was generating Ksh 1.5 million per month. Trevor has been Eve Mungai’s boyfriend from 2020 when they started working online together.
Director Trevor Graduated from JKUAT with undergraduate degree in Journalism and mass Communication. Before settling to work with Eve Mungai,he was a freelancer journalist and photographer.
Director Trevor met Eve Mungai in 2020 at an event in Nairobi. They exchanged numbers and later started talking. Eve revealed that she met Trevor while he was dating but she didn’t mind snatching him from the girlfriend. Trevor later fronted the idea of starting a YouTube channel. He created the channel and suggested to Eve to interview clients. Trevor was to be behind the camera.
Their YouTube channel grew beyond their expectations. By 2021 they already had over 300,000 followers and earning over Ksh 600,000 monthly.
In 2021 they relocated to Kileleshwa, a posh estate where the who is who in business and political circles live.By this time, they were pulling in over Ksh 1.5 million through social media and YouTube.
In 2023 cracks started emerging with Eve accusing Trevor of infidelity. Trevor also accused Eve of the same. Though they weren’t sleeping in the same room, only a handful of Kenyans noticed that there was something wrong in the relationship.
In 2024 Trevor officially announced that he has fired Eve.He went head to re-brand Mungai Eve to Kenya online Media.Mungai left the country to Zanzibar to enjoy her holiday and plan on the next move.
A number of celebrities have revealed that the two are together, they haven’t separated. They claim that this information was to help them get enough attention to rebrand. However,Eve Mungai has not officially confirmed the split
