Peris Mugera is dead.The blogger went missing two weeks ago and the case was reported at the police station.
Peris Mugera, comes from Kagumo, Magumoni ward, Chuka Sub-county, Chuka Igambang’ombe Constituency, Tharaka Nithi County.
She has actively been involved in politics for better part of her life. She was a mother of two, a ground mobiliser, political blogger as well as political influencer amongst other duties. Apparently she was not in distress and had no known enemies. Somehow, she left her young children and informed them she was headed to work but never returned home only found murdered and body dumped at the Makutano (Mwea) Junction after going missing for days.
This is the second blogger from Meru who’s been murdered in a span of 1 year.Last year, blogger Snipper was found dead after missing for weeks.
