Willis Raburu leaves TV 47 despite earning Ksh 800,000 per month

Willis Raburu has left TV 47 few months after joining the growing media house.The journalist had announced earlier this month that his Wabebe Show will not be airing on TV 47.

We love you and appreciate you so much”,He wrote on his Facebook page

Willis resigned from Citizen TV a year to join Capemedia.His salary was increased from Ksh 600,000 to Ksh 800,000. His Wabebe show was to rival 10/10 show which airs on Citizen TV. Despite a lot of publicity, the show didn’t live up to the expectations. Willis decided to resign to avoid being fired.

After leaving TV 47,he has 4 options:

1.To start a YouTube channel

2.To return to Citizen TV

3.To secure a job at CNN as African correspondent

4.To look for a similar position at NTV.

Sources claim that he has already been contacted by CNN for a job. He will join Victoria Rubadiri and Larry Madowo who are working with the giant media house.
