President William Ruto’s close ally Oscar Sudi has reacted to the incident where his club in Eldoret was destroyed. The MP didn’t believe that his people were targeting his business. The demonstrators were reacting to the 2024 Finance Bill which was passed by parliament.
Reacting on social media, Sudi said:
“He’s saying he knows the people who destroyed businesses yesterday, he’s never wronged anyone… amewaachia Mungu and that he won’t revenge. He adds that anajua capacity ya Gen-Z hawawezi fika that extent, it’s his enemies at work and he’s going incognito for some time God bless you all”

Though he blamed his enemies for the destruction, it’s clear that his people are not happy. Oscar has become an overnight millionaire, carrying money sacks. Recently, he donated Ksh 20 million in church.
As he flaunts his wealth, constituents are sleeping hungry. Their latest action is a warning to the MP—he should work for his stomach or deliver for the people who elected him. In 2027 they will make a statement
