We wake up to the sad news that 11 women who had gone for a parents’ visit in Meru from Rongai have died. The women were travelling in a PSV matatu when they perished. The matatu collided head on with another vehicle at the notorious Nithi Bridge. Those who died include 11 women and 2 children.
Police have asked for a photo of the women to identify the bodies.
Nithi Bridge is one of the most dangerous hot spots in Kenya,it claims lives of people every month.
