Ugandan athlete Rebecca Cheptegei is dead.The athlete died this morning at Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital where she was transferred for specialized treatment.
Rebecca was burnt by her boyfriend Dickson Ndiema.The two had domestic problems which had spanned over 5 years. The husband waited until she arrived from Paris then torched her house.She sustained 80% body injuries.
Dickson Ndiema has been arrested and will face murder charges.
