Raila’s ODM has agreed to work with Ruto’s UDA to form a government. Raila is expected to share 50% of key positions in the government.
Here are the 10 key highlights in the UDA and ODM Memorandum of Understanding deal that has been signed by President Ruto and Rt. Hon. Raila Odinga at KICC, Nairobi.
The points include;
1. Full implementation of the NADCO Report
2. Inclusivity in all public life
3. Protecting and strengthening devolution
4. Promoting and protecting the livelihoods of young people
5. Leadership and Integrity
6. Right to peaceful assembly and protest
7. National debt
8. Fight against corruption
9. Stopping wastage of public resources and promote govt. efficiency
10. Protecting the Sovereignty of the people, the rule of law and constitutionalism
