Since his impeachment, his political star has been rising. He is one of the politicians who will determine the next president of Kenya. Gachagua has vowed to send Ruto home. Already,he is working with Kalonzo Musyoka.

The former Interior CS is the front runner in the 2027 presidential race. If he joins hands with Kalonzo and Gachagua,his chances of winning are high. But he will face stiff opposition and court cases engineered by the government.

Another politician you should watch in 2027. He has already gained popularity in Western Kenya. His influence grew after Mudavadi folded his ANC Party.

The current Nairobi Senator is popular among the youth. He is a politician to watch. If he opts to defend his seat, winning is guaranteed. He is quoted saying that even if Raila supports Ruto ,the president will still lose to the opposition.

Raila Odinga is using the same script he used in 2002 against Moi. He will reap maximum benefits from Ruto then bolt out in 2026 to support a popular candidate. At the moment, he is watching the game as he shares the cake with the president.

Musalia Mudavadi is the Foreign Affairs CS and the Prime Minister in Ruto’s government. With the entry of Raila into the government, Mudavadi finds himself in an awkward position. He also doesn’t have a party,meaning that he won’t negotiate for anything. Will he cross over to Gachagua’s side?Time will tell.
