President Ruto has distanced himself from the impeachment of Rigathi Gachagua. The president claims that he didn’t append the signature for his impeachment. He reveals that it was the MPs who felt the need to impeach the former DP. He further revealed that Gachagua was demanding Ksh 10 billion from his or else he makes sure he is one term president.
While speaking to kikuyu stations, the president says that Gachagua had picked fights with almost every leader, making them angry. MPs ganged up and impeached him.
The president nominated Kithure Kindiki to replace Gachagua. However, Kindiki has not brought any meaningful impact to the government. Currently, Gachagua is the Mount Kenya Kingpin and he has vowed to make President Ruto one term president.
