Social media user Adelle Omondi has shared a disturbing experience involving a Mash Poa bus journey that ended with her waking up in a hospital without her underwear, despite having worn it when she boarded the bus.
According to Adelle, she had booked seat number 37 on a Mash Poa bus traveling from Nairobi to Mombasa.
But after departure, she later found herself at Coast General Hospital with no underwear and no memory of how she got there.
She suspects she was drugged by the passenger seated next to her in seat number 38.
When she tried to obtain the identity of that passenger, she says Mash Poa management declined to release any details.
Adelle also alleges that the hospital refused to open a file on her case, leaving her with unanswered questions and growing concern over what might have happened during the journey.
She expressed concern about the events that unfolded, stating she has no memory of what happened after boarding the bus and is unsure whether she may have been sexually assaulted, as her underwear was missing and not found with her other clothes.
In a separate but similar incident, another social media user, Sarah Saidie, reported that she too woke up in a hospital without her underwear after using the same bus service, under circumstances mirroring those described by Adelle.
