Franzis Wambua was one of the members of Kalonzo Musyoka’s WhatsApp group. He had asked whether Kalonzo is serious with his presidential ambitions. Below is what happened:
This morning I woke up to find myself removed from Kalonzo Musyoka’s official WhatsApp group. Am I shocked? Not at all. Am I hurt? Slightly, but not because of the removal itself since nothing serious is ever discussed there. It’s mostly political cheerleading, recycled hope, and silence when real issues are raised.
What bothers me is why I was removed for asking three questions that any serious presidential contender would answer without fear. But the gatekeepers, thin-skinned and power-drunk, couldn’t handle the truth. So they did what cowards do: silence the voice instead of answering the question. Here are my 3 questions that I asked;
1. 𝐇𝐚𝐬 𝐊𝐚𝐥𝐨𝐧𝐳𝐨 𝐌𝐮𝐬𝐲𝐨𝐤𝐚 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐥𝐲 𝐛𝐞𝐞𝐧 𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐨𝐮𝐬 𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐛𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭? 𝐁𝐞𝐜𝐚𝐮𝐬𝐞 𝐢𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐰𝐞𝐫 𝐢𝐬 𝐲𝐞𝐬, 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐧 𝐚 𝐟𝐞𝐰 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬 𝐬𝐢𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐲 𝐝𝐨𝐧’𝐭 𝐚𝐝𝐝 𝐮𝐩.
2. Why is the person in charge of his media and communications, print and digital the sister-in-law of David Ndii? Ndii is President Ruto’s top economic advisor, actually the most trusted. Paloma Gatabaki calls the shots on everything to do with media, her blood sister is Mwende Gatabaki who’s David Ndiis wife. You can’t tell us you’re running against the system while your media is controlled by people sleeping in the enemy’s house. That’s actually why president Ruto had to do away with people close to H.E. Rigathi Gachagua, EGH..and that’s politics and that’s how it should be done. This issue isn’t new, people have raised this for three years, but as usual, SKM doesn’t care.
3. Does Wiper even have a Secretary General? If yes, who is he? Can anyone point him out in a crowd? Can anyone name a debate, a press conference, or even a rally where he stood up and defended Wiper’s agenda? If you have even a 2 second video of him selling wiper agenda or SKM agenda, post it in comment section for 10k. He’s invisible. Silent. Useless. Even elected leaders within Wiper have complained, but again, SKM doesn’t care.
So I’ll circle back to the original question number 1: Are we pushing a man to become president when he himself has no intention, no urgency, and no plan to lead?
The silence, the apathy, the contradictions scream louder than his rallies. And until we stop treating loyalty like slavery, Wiper will keep being played.
Right now, you would think Riggy G is the one running to be the president. Matiang’i came just two weeks ago, and he’s now being sold to the people like hot cakes. Everyone is talking about Riggy G and Matiang’i.
