Prime Minister H.E. Raila Odinga has generously donated 5 acres of land in Kirembe to the Government of Kenya for the development of affordable housing project in Kisumu. This land is strategically next to Kisumu International Airport and the busy Kisumu-Busia International Highway.
In addition to the housing units, the government also plans to construct schools and healthcare facilities on the donated land, further supporting the well-being of local communities in the area.
This donation is part of a larger 24-acre parcel where Mr. Odinga is developing the upscale LV Marina Estate. His contribution reflects a strong commitment to social development and public service.
LV Marina, a major mixed-use development in Kisumu, is a partnership between GulfCap Real Estate and Prime Minister Raila Odinga. The project, valued at Sh120 billion, aims to transform Kisumu’s skyline and economy, offering a variety of amenities including a marina, upscale residences, commercial spaces, and social infrastructure.
