Kenyans on TikTok are planning to build TikTok Hospital. They have plans to contribute at least Ksh15 million which will help in building the new hospital. This comes days after TikTok users in Kenya contributed over Ksh17 million towards Kaluma.

Kaluma had a father in the village who didn’t have money for hospital. The government didn’t care about the father. Kenyans sympathised with him and contributed at least Ksh 17 million towards the hospital bills.

The new hospital will provide free or cheap healthcare to Kenyans. It will also send a message to those in government.Currently,if you visit most public hospitals, they don’t have drugs—you will be told to go to a nearby Chemist to buy drugs.

There are those who are asking how Gen Z will finance the building of 47 county referral hospitals.

Well, in Kenya we have 18 million young people. If each contributes just Ksh 500 every month, together we raise Ksh 9 billion per month. Over 12 months, that adds up to Ksh 108 billion.

Each hospital will cost about Ksh 1.5 billion to build and Ksh 700 million to furnish and equip, totaling Ksh 2.2 billion per facility. With 47 counties, the total cost comes to roughly Ksh 103.4 billion—well within what Gen Z can collect in a year.

This means that within just one year, every county in Kenya can have a fully equipped Level 5 hospital, built and funded by the energy and vision of its young people.
